Mindset, credo, and the use of an Oxford comma.
CONCEPT. CREATE. REPEAT.
Emphasis on the repeat. The only way to get better is through practice. This goes for anything in life. From sketching to brand building or bonfires to parenting, it is a mindset that allows you to grow through repetition. Giving you the ability to build solutions that hit the mark and break through the clutter.
DO GOOD WORK WITH GOOD PEOPLE.
This is a two-part philosophy. Good work manifests from the passion you put behind each and every project. Passion is what gets you out of bed each morning, grabbing breakfast on the go, and getting stuck in a snowstorm during rush hour. You’re driven to create.
Part two begins with yourself. Leading by example and fostering a team environment helps propel everyone to do their best, allowing for greater success and happiness. Paired with good work, you have the structure of turning this phrase into results.“LIFE IS 10% WHAT HAPPENS AND 90% HOW YOU REACT TO IT.”
This quote from Charles R. Swindoll has defined my attitude in and out of the workplace. Being both managed and a manager, your attitude will be the most important skillset you can bring to a team. Failure is okay as long as you are failing forward and have an eagerness to dust yourself off and go at it again. My favorite sports phrase is “your greatest ability is your reliability.” This is true. Life is going to happen, but how you react to it defines you as a person.
